Teenage girls between 14 through 17 years old who have been severely traumatized through abuse, neglect and/or exploitation find hope at the Hartman Home in Wilkes-Barre.  This residential facility provides a stable, secure environment where they receive social, psychological, medical and education services.  A skilled, empathetic staff assists the girls in developing positive coping mechanisms, increase self-esteem, repair relationships and learn necessary life skills. 

 

The Hartman Home is a restraint-free environment staffed by highly skilled trauma informed professionals.  The design and furnishings are geared toward ensuring a home-like environment.
