For over 20 years, the Dial-a-Driver program has provided critically needed transportation to safeguard the health and independence of those utilizing the service, ensuring they can live the most fulfilling lives. A fleet of vehicles, including wheelchair-accessible buses, are committed to this service. Trained and experienced drivers provide transportation to eligible individuals to quality-of-life destinations including day programs, grocery stores, and doctor’s offices. Dial-A-Driver utilizes flexible scheduling so that riders can schedule one-time rides or schedule recurring daily, weekly, or monthly rides. By offering these options, Dial-A-Driver remains responsive to the scheduling needs of our riders and ensures that our program meets the needs of the elderly and persons with disabilities.
Program Eligibility:
You or your loved one may be eligible for Dial-a-Driver transportation service if you or they have a physical or developmental disability, are living in poverty, and/or are a senior citizen (age 65 or older). - Assistance to and from your front door boarding and departing the bus
- Assistance in scheduling transportation support
- Other resource navigation assistance
- All services delivered at zero cost to the rider
